Stuart has always been a creative person in one respect, while in another a very pragmatic and practical person.  This dichotomy serves him well in his role as firm principal where he must maintain a creative and open mind while making sure his business and his clients needs are met.

Originally from Mississippi, Stuart moved to Charlotte at a young age, growing up in Charlotte. He attended college at the College of Architecture at UNCC, graduating in 2004.  He and his wife Leslie began their careers and family in Charlotte.  Living and working in such a wonderful and dynamic city was invaluable to Stuarts professional development and general outlook on life.

Stuart is obsessed with music; it's a constant datum weaving itself through everything he does.  He loves being outside with his two daughters exploring nature.  He's an outgoing-introvert who loves that he gets to make a living designing buildings and spaces.
