This is a renovation of a historic structure in the heart of Oxford, Ms.  Originally built in the early 1800's as a stage coach stop, this building has seen many renovations and additions over the years as it evolved from one use to another; including a post office, a dormitory, law offices, and private residences.

In this latest renovation the exterior remained largely untouched while the interior was dramatically transformed, essentially being taken back to studs and rebuilt room by room.  In order to open rooms up to each other, brick bearing walls original to the structure, 150+ years old, were removed in order to achieve a more modern floor plan.

Thanks to a cumulative effort including the creative thinking of the owners and the builder, Capomazza Construction, the result is an eclectically modern home that perfectly fits it's owners.
